I have a loved one at TDCJ, and am just sharing what I have learned to help new families. I just went through a lot of confusion about how to visit, how to add funds, and more. I am passing on what I learned. Always check the TDCJ website or call the unit for the most up to date information, as this site is simply my understanding of how things work, but I am sure is not 100% accurate. Most of the blogs have a comment section if see something wrong or if you have helpful information for other readers.
